Poor Jake Owen. It seems Friday the 13th turned out to be a pretty bad day for him.

He was spending his free time snowboarding in Colorado while at the Crested Butte Songwriters Festival when he broke his collar bone. Afterwards he tweeted this picture to his fans saying ‘Guess I charged this mountain a little too hard’. Jake plans to go ahead with his scheduled performances saying ‘If I have to sit on a stool I’ll be there. I can’t let y’all down’.
The inaugural Crested Butte Songwriters Festival will be held at The Crested Butte Mountain Resort in Colorado the festival revolves around two nights of performances staged at local hot spots featuring performances by a collection of the best performing songwriters in the world.
